    About

Summer weight shawl. Pattern called for worsted but I used a sport weight yarn. It came out slightly smaller, although I didn't block firmly. This is a fun and fairly fast knit. I found the pattern easy to follow except at the start of the applied edge lace. I knew what was expected, but the directions confused me. The yarn is very soft and drapes nicely - best part is that it's washable!

Very beautiful shawl. Like it very much. Wonder if it is too much work.

I took my time, but it actually knitted up fairly quickly because of the sport weight yarn. The pattern is written for a aran weight so you'd see your knitted progress growing faster. I didn't think it was too much work, as the pattern isn't too complicated.
