I also think that the last stitch in the row is difficult to see. So I make sure that I add one stitch than I think. I found counting a real pain. Mine all come out straight and even. Good Luck

I noticed that the left side of the blanket is relatively straight but the right side is where it's shrinking. Before you turn your work, are you remembering to chain the right amount to start the next row? If so, the other thing I would look at is where you're placing your first stitch. After you chain the amount needed to start the next row and then turn your work, make sure that you are placing your first stitch in the first open space to the left of the hook. Not the space directly under the hook but the one directly to the left of it. Then continue on the way the pattern tells you to and when you get to the end, remember to place your final stitch in the last space available and then do your chain stitches again before turning your work. Until this becomes habit, it might help to count your stitches to be certain you have the amount of stitches that the pattern says you should. I hope this helps. Have fun!

My first question would be do your rows have the same amount of stitches? When I was first starting to crochet, I had difficulty deciding which stitch was the first when I turned the row. Until I got used to how everything looked, I would mark my first and last stitch on each row so that I continued to make the correct number across.
