Hi, Michelle! This is a really hacked version of the Barley hat. I used the Barley pattern by TinCanKnits as a guide for sizing, but I made the following changes: I made the brim a split brim and made it longer to accommodate this change. To make a split brim hat, knit the brim flat to the desired length THEN join in the round for the rest of the hat. I also made a garter stitch “spiral” around the hat instead of the typical garter stitch “triangle” in the pattern. Then, I just added braided tassels. I hope that helps you!
