    I love these circle vests and jackets and have collected a number of patterns. This one is very well laid out and easy to follow, but tends to buckle slightly in the centre. This one is made using a DK weight 8ply yarn and I'm now making one using 4ply fingering weight and am noticing the same problem. The solution, I feel, is the work the first few rounds using a smaller hook, which I will try next time.

    Measurements

    Notes: I used a slightly larger hook and a different yarn than recommended. As a result, this coat turned out much larger than expected. I'd say it's a women's size 16-18+.
