    About

My husband loved the first Aran jumper so much , and said he would love another one in a different colour! Well off I set to start another jumper in different colour , slightly different style , drove me crazy this time! Found the first one easy enough but couldn't concentrate on this one, kept making silly mistakes and having to unpick rows, so never again!!!!

It was well worth the unpicking - that complicated central pattern of cables, which remind me of Celtic knots, is divine!

Thankyou,I don’t knit adult size Aran jumpers very often as they take so long to knit but feel so happy with myself once I have done one :)

The jumper is a combination of patterns I've just checked the book, it's bits from one pattern book and bits from a magazine pattern , the grey jumper is in the King Cole book it was called the Pioneer Jersey, hope that helps :)

I think it was the King Cole Aran Book 1 but I will double check as far as I know it's still available :)

Could you give me the name of the Aran book, please? I would like to buy it on amazon, or is it available in the LoveKnitting online store? Thank you

Thankyou, it did cause me a few nightmares, and a few unpicking to get it right. And of course I'm never knitting another one! Well until next year anyway
