    About

It’s been a while since I’ve listed a project. I’ve been out of action due to a torn tendon in my shoulder. You realise how much you love crocheting when you can’t do it.

I’ve made this latest creation using two cakes of Lion Brand Cupcake in Gelato. The border is done in Cream using Stylecraft Special DK.

I conquered my OCD with it having to be perfect and totally crocheted from the cake. No cuts to make it look better. I’m really happy with the end result.

It is a fantastic blanket Maggie. I went crazy when I broke my wrist about 9 years ago because I couldn't knit or crochet.

@Dell F: I’m going to be selling my blankets on a new platform. I’m over eBay. For around a year now I’ve been having other sellers there copying my listings. When I first started I spent hours making sure mine was unique to me. I’ve asked the sellers involved to stop and all but 2 have. I’ve contacted eBay and they refuse to do anything. I’m done. I’ve been selling there since 2011. I’ve a group of lovely return buyers but I just can stand these sellers using all that I worked hard for. They’ve taken the fun out of it. I’ve 1 item left on eBay. Any new items I’ll be selling elsewhere. On Pinterest the other day I saw she’s trying to take credit there for things that aren’t hers🤬

@Maggie S:Do they copy your blankets Maggie? Same pattern, same yarn? How can they live with themselves? Grrrr!

@Maggie S: Good on you! I can appreciate the hard work and long hours that go into creating something special; they've no right to copy and take credit for your work!!!

I was wondering where you had got to. Gorgeous as always, will sell like hot cakes! I am so pleased to read how you manipulate the colours as I do that too. I know it is only my head and it will not wrong, now you have proved it ;)
