    About

Perfect holiday knitting! I really enjoyed making this over Christmas whilst the house was full and bustling. The short rows and easy to remember pattern repeat worked perfectly and I was pleased at how well the yarn blocked.

    Measurements

    31 cm x 254 cm (12 in x 100 in).

Notes: Worked 2 more increase repeats before the straight part, making a total of 53 sts before starting the decreases.

Wow! That's great, I can't wait to see it! It's really quick to make, isn't it? It's natural to keep pressing on to the next step and then, all of a sudden, it's finished!

@SEAknitting: it's really compulsive! I think it's the short rows - suddenly I was up the increases into the straight bit, and down the other side! I did knit it on 4mms because I couldn't find any 5s, but I'll be making it again on 5s! xx

Hi, I've just purchased your border ballad pattern, using the same yarn...bluefaced Leicester, but the pattern is not working out for me...I've knitted rows 1 to 13 three times, on the last time I removed the (twice) from the rows which seemed to work, however I have now got to row 15 can't get it to work! Any suggestions please...Thanks Lynn

Oh dear, I'm sorry to hear that. The pattern has been tested so it should work out. Would you like me to write it out row by row for you?
