    About

It started, as it so often does, with a LoveKnitting sale... and a little lust for the colours... and a great price for the Rooster Almerino (alpaca and merino).
It progressed from hat to hat until I had four very different ones, ranging from the snug beanie-type yellow one, to the much slouchier lilac.
And my family has been wearing them since they were finished.

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 4.00mm (US 6) 80cm
    • Circular 5.00mm (US 8) 80cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
Other : As with most of the knitting I do these days, I used a longish circular needle and the magic loop method.

    Measurements

    54-58cm

Notes: Due to the smaller needle size for the rib, these hats will stretch to fit anything from my 7 year-old to me (or even, frankly, my husband, though his head is quite large so that might be - ahem - stretching it)
