    About

This pattern was a height chart but I omitted the felt numbers down the side and made it a wall hanging.

    Pattern

    Small Measures by Val Pierce

    This pattern is from:
    Let's Knit Magazine Issue 81

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 6.50mm (US 10.5)
    • Single Point 4.00mm (US 6)

    Accessories

    • Buttons
    • Tapestry Needle
    • Stuffing
Other : I used some 10mm wooden needles as hangers for the chart. I glued them together and glued the twisted cord to them after securing it with a small piece of double sided tape

    Measurements

Notes: I made the chart as per the pattern but when I came to make it up I add a little bit of stuffing under the leaves to make them stand up slightly. I also didn't sew the tips of the flowers down so they curled up at the tips. The butterfly, bee and ladybirds were buttons stitched on. I had previously made one for my granddaughter and found the glued foam ladybirds fell off after a time.
