Floe Seamless Circular Yoke Sweater

I made this for myself. I'm on a mission to replace my cold-weather sweatshirts with hand knit pullovers.

    About

This pattern is well-written and easy to follow! I modified the decorative stitch to have a longer strand and smaller eyelet hole. If I make this sweater again, I will add darts to the torso. It has a very loose fit. As always, my cat helped! (Shown in photos, on my lap.)

Lovely sweater. And I love your cat. I have never made a sweater for myself, but now I think I will give it a go.

Thanks Christine! Have fun with this pattern. It's a good one for a first try. Sadly, my beautiful cat is no longer with us. He passed away recently. He was a wonderful knitting companion!

@Elizabeth H: Sorry to hear about your cat. My beloved golden retriever is showing signs of age, and I can't stand it. By the way, I just bought a pile of Cascade Longwood Sport on sale. Apparently, it's being discontinued? The silver heather is really nice. Also bought denim heather, green heather, sky heather, white, red, purple heather, chai, olive - oh, it's an illness. So if your lovely sweater has not held up to wear and washing, please don't tell me.

@Christine L: Cascade Longwood Sport HAS held up well. You will be pleased. And --my goodness-- what a lovely stash of yarn you just acquired!

What a great mission! It's a beautiful sweater (color and knit), and I appreciate your suggestions for alterations in the pattern. Also love the cozy cat.
