    About

    Erich, my husband and I were on holidays in Italy. Erich was completely thrilled, because the countryside is entirely fit for the needs of goats. Hills and mountains, macchia, gras, stairways to mountaintops, and the odd coffee shop, of course. Erich is very civilzed, in the end.
    Actually, he now wants to be called Don Enrico il Caprone Grande. Sigh. It’s not always easy with the knitted kids …

    Erich, mein Mann und ich haben unseren Urlaub in Italien verbracht. Erich war völlig aus dem Häuschen. Das Land scheint extra für Kletterziegen gemacht zu sein: Berge, Treppen, Macchia, und nicht zu vergessen überall Cafés – Erich ist schließlich ein zivilisierter Ziegenbock.
    Er möchte übrigens seit dem Urlaub Don Enrico il Caprone Grande genannt werden. Seufz. Ich hab’s auch nicht immer leicht mit meinen Strickkindern …

    Ich habe euch ein paar Bilder von Erich, äh, Don Enrico mitgebracht. Viel Spaß damit!

        Dear Alison, thank you so much. We really had fun (and loads of odd glances, you bet) carrying him around and propping him up everywhere. I personally love the picture with my hubby and Erich sitting in front of the coffee bar. They both look so content (and they where!).
