    About

My sister loves elephants and I loved the Claire Fairall design.

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 10.00mm (US 15) 60cm

    Accessories

    • Stuffing
    • Tapestry Needle
    • Stitch Markers
Other : I used 15mm safety eyes instead of using yarn as the yarn disappeared into the elephant. I had to get Knit Pro yarn needles which have large enough eyes to sew up this bulky yarn.

    Measurements

    approx.35cm /14” tall x 46cm /18” from trunk to tail

Notes: Used the same yarn as the pattern but it was a lot lighter than shown - my supportive husband refers to it as the” white elephant”. You definitely need circular needles to carry the weight of this yarn - even a few rows on straight needles strained my hands.
