    My hubby is a big bike fan. He has been adamant that he didn't need me to knit him a hat over the years but as he has started to see what I've made for others he seems to have changed his mind and started dropping hints that I never make him anything. So I've been knitting this in secret whilst he has worked night shifts.

    I bought worsted weight yarn as the pattern suggested but I just couldn't get it to work so I've switched the pattern to chunky yarn and put extra ribbing in so he can keep his ears toasty. I've tried it on my head and I think it's coming up a tiny bit long but we'lol have to wait till Christmas to see what he thinks
