    About

I did consider asking Mrs K if her husband would model these ;) A number of items were requested for a local Horse Riding School. Warm head & neck wear with no buttons, toggles, beads, or anything else that could get tangled-up or be nibbled-off by an inquisitive pony.
Friends of the Forest is a hood/cowl. It is knit in the round from the bottom up, then splits and is knitted flat (still on circulars), then uses short rows to create the crown. Using 60cm circular needles with Sirdar Softspun Chunky - Shroom (583).
Glitter Hood. Circular knit, then seamed on 1 edge. Aldi Chunky Sparkle Yarn 0.5 balls. Circular 9.00mm (US 13) 50cm
    Measurements - Width 9", length (flat) 17"
Pink Long Cowl: Sirdar Softspun Chunky - Gauzey (586) 2.0 balls. Circular 7.00mm (US 10.75) 60cm
    Measurements - Finished length 16", width 14"-18"
Also shown: Red Short Cowl, Pink Basketweave Cowl, Green Check Earwarmer, Glitter Earwarmer, Grey Cabled Earwarmer - http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/broadband
