    About

We went to a natural history museum in Forest Hill, my 2.5yo girl was absolutely fascinated by the dodo they had on display - of course I jumped on the opportunity to make her one! The yarn is a bit of a pain to work with (got some helpful tips from fellow crocheters about adding a thin thread to use alongside it to help with the stitch count - worth a try), but end result is a lovely fluffy chick-like texture.

I dont usually make big toys, this is easily the biggest one I made so far. But now I've made one big thing kinda tempted to do another one, maybe a big squishy dragon... we will see..

Hey, love this project! But...the thing is, i wish this pattern was free!! I have been searching for a designer who has animal patterns, and your the only one! Is it a possibility that you could list all the free patterns you have? Since you have so many awesome patterns, it's hard to find the free ones!! (Because i'm lazy, haha!!) Hopefully you can make many more awesome patterns and projects! - S 😄
