    About

I am relatively new at crocheting and had never used the corner to corner stitch before, so this was quite a challenge for me. I wanted something unique for our new grandson in Montana and knew this was IT as soon as I saw the pattern. It took me an estimated 300+ hours to complete over 3+ months (including tearing outs, re-do's, and a HUGE learning curve) but it turned out beautifully and the new parents LOVED it. I made the large size and also added the border using the various blues, so the finished size was about 48" x 60". The trickiest element for me was the constant changing of colors and having up to 6 colors in progress at the same time. This was truly a Labor of Love!

Love that you used the extra yarn for the border. Making this for my unborn son and this will be my 1st c2c project so I'm a little nervous. Definitely going to use your border idea on his blanket as well.
