    About

    I had never made an item of clothing for myself before, so I thought I'd try this pattern! It's not for the faint-hearted; while the pattern itself isn't too difficult you're working with an awful lot of stitches, and it takes a lot of effort to put mistakes right! I made this with a different yarn to the one used in the pattern, but the cotton DK by Paintbox has been a brilliant substitute and has given the shawl a very luxurious feel.
