Hi Angie, you've made an absolutely beautiful dress. I just started the striped st-st and wonder if you can help me? It says work two rows in yellow and six rows in beige. I find two rows in yellow much narrower than I thought - it's just one knitted row and one purled row! The stripes appear much thicker in photos - is my understanding correct?! Many thanks, Hennie

Hi Hennie, thank you. That is correct. I thought exactly the same but it looks great when you've knitted a few stripes.

Hi there. I just started knitting this for my 4 year old but already confused by the raglan 3rd row instruction as it seems to require far more stitches than it says to cast on for the neck border. Did you find this when you knitted it? Thanks

Hi, I found this pattern so confusing I rang loveknitting up! They were as confused as me and at one point we thought there was an error in the pattern but it's just worded badly, or translated weirdly. Basically, after completing rows 3-8 repeat rows 7-8 16 times but remember to knit 2 extra after first increase for each section across the row. So for example row 9 would read: k3, inc 1, *k22, inc 1, k2, then k2, inc 1, *k38, inc 1, k2, then k2, inc 1, *k22, inc 1, k2,
        then k2, inc 1, *k38, inc 1, k3.
(You're increasing 8 stitches every increase row).
I placed stitch markers where I've put an asterisk to help me remember.

It's hard to explain in writing so if you're still confused let me know and I will ring you, maybe it will be easier to explain verbally x
