    About

Tube socks to keep my grand-daughter's toes cosy whilst waiting between dance classes - ballet, tap and street dance - what an energetic young lady!

I also get to try two new techniques - toe up socks and Turkish cast on...here goes!

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 2.75mm (US 2) 60cm
    • Double Point 2.75mm (US 2) 20cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle

    Measurements

    6.75 in

Notes: I'm going to knit the socks longer than in the pattern by about 1.5 inches - so 14.25 inches.

        Correze

Hi Alix. I'm interested to see how the 'fairisle' knits up in this yarn. Have you used this yarn?

@Susan@Hollygrove: Not that yarn in particular, but there's something very fun about knitting with pre patterned yarn :)

@Alix: Not as 'fairisle' as I'd expected, but still fun. I found the turkish cast on fiddly but worth it for the finished result.
