    About

    Be my Valentine – the name stands for a pretty crochet shawl with lacey heart motifs. It is a perfect accessory for balmy spring days, for those in love and for all who love to crochet. Length and width of the shawl are variable, and it can be worked in many yarn weights. It will look especially nice when using a gradient yarn such as Laceball by Schoppel.

    The shawl’s most adorable feature are little crocheted hearts at the tips

    Needed materials:

    approx. 700 – 900 meters [766 – 984 yds] non-plied multi-strand handcrafted yarn such as cotton-acrylic blends (fingering weight or lace-weight yarns may also be used, but please note that the total amount required will differ)

    Crochet hook matching the yarn used

    Sewing needle for weaving in ends
    Finished size after blocking approx 180 x 60 cm [71 x 24 in]
