    About

Nice little polo shirt for a boy or girl. The pattern calls for using Knitpicks Shine Sport yarn (cotton), so the shirt is intended as a summer top. But I knit this in merino and used small needles, so it is very cozy. I think it will work nicely over a long sleeved onesie. Cascade Heritage 150 is terrific yarn for babies. The pattern is easy to follow.

    Pattern

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 3.25mm (US 3)
    • Circular 2.25mm (US 1) 80cm

    Accessories

    • Stitch Markers
    • Buttons
    • Tapestry Needle
Other : I used the size 3 needle for bind off only.

    Measurements

Notes: I used stitch count for size 12 months, but used small needles. The pattern calls for using sport yarn. Cascade Heritage 150 is described as sport yarn, but to me it seems somewhere between sport and fingering weight. The little shirt will fit a 3 month old.
