    A simple little stripy garter stitch hat with a button detail to one side
    It comes in two sizes, 3 to 6 months, 6 to 12 months, and should see you through that first year
    It looks like it takes a great deal of yarn, but It uses the mini 10g balls or would look equally good using up your stash

        Thank you, that's exactly what I did, in the past I would have knitted a pair of boots with the leftovers, but they dont seem to wear them now, so I thought a little hat never goes amiss
