I made this for a challenge

    About

Part 5 - 13/6/18 - I am really really behind now and do not ever want to do that many DTR picot stitches in Walnut yarn ever again! (Row 66)

Part 6 - 24/6/18 - What with one thing and another lost a bit of momentum with this part and really really struggle with round 72 and then getting my head around alternating front posts and back posts!

Part 7 - 10/7/18 - Long time to get through this part despite some rows being fairly simple I shall blame the hot weather

I can't get row 87 to look as it does on original. I have the stitches going down and looks like a blanket stitch but I also have the horizontal bpdc showing. Poo!!! Can't see why either :(

Mine looked like that too but it all kind of comes together with row 88, have to say I did sort of enjoy this row but did undo it a few times also I was doing this end of last week in the extreme heat. I have struggled with the three rows which are perhaps the easiest in the whole thing but it was the counting and re-counting and re-counting!

@Vix: Maybe the horizontal stitch does not show so much on mine as it is lemon on pistachio and kind of blends in.

@Sarah T: Yes mine are coral with a French blue but Helen's do not show but the one illustrated is in cotton so will be tighter. Anyway will have to live with it. Just liked the effect of the stitch.

Still plodding along! It is strange because some rows that look fairly basic on paper seem to take an age and row 66 was one of them. Looking at the upcoming parts after part 6 we start squaring off but I will not get my hopes up it will be any easier. Can definitely say this is the most challenging project I have ever done.

@Sarah T: I am with u there. It is wonderful to see all the different colourways. I have just finished 4, am stitching ends in. How I wish I had done it as and when. My next will be subtle, buttermilk, sage,Parma violet, rose, duck egg and maybe blush. Will have to see them together. Onward and upward :)

I have been struggling with the fairly simple round 69 and after 3 days (yes 3 days) I thought I had it sorted only to find that missed out stitches on the corners and so a lot of unravelling has been done and I'm back to the beginning

@Sarah T: my heart bleeds for you! I am doing well but they are all simple rows coming up to row 66. It is weird how some rows you just can't get and it is usually a small mistake on the previous row. I spend so much time counting! The old chap is not allowed to speak to me, which is no doubt a relief ;)
