    About

Having suffered from severe joint pain for years I was feeling very low that I couldn't continue my love of dance. But along came knitting and it has helped me to channel those feelings, to forget the pain of day to day living with the rhythm of knitting a beautiful shawl with gorgeous knitpro needles and an easy to follow pattern. I've even ordered 5 different colours to make a second one using blues and pinks.

I used children's foam play mats for blocking to finish the project and the end result is truly gorgeous.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 6.00mm (US 10) 100cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    • Stitch Markers
Other : I have some beautiful full circle stitch markers with animal attachments, so every time I had to slip marker I was slipping off a tiger and an owl. It's a lot more fun than the normal ones

    Measurements

One size only: Width: 86”/218cm- Length from top to point: 32”/8

Notes: I knitted to the exact pattern and I love the size. If it seems like it's getting a little long for your taste then you can always cut out a few rows from the colour blocks.

Thanks for the tip about blocking! I looked at blocking mats but they are so expensive, going to check out play mats, thanks. Lovely shawl, great colours
