    About

I really liked the original pattern but needed to work with chunky yarn. So I converted the pattern for chunky yarn. This was knitted with the magic loop method - no DPNs.

Gauge is 14 stitches per 4 inches/10 cm

I CO 70 stitches. I followed the rib pattern on 6.5 mm for 4 rows. I then swapped to 7 mm needles and followed the body pattern until it measured 5 inches. I then did rounds 1-10 of the crown (ending with 28 stitches on the needles). I skipped rounds 11-13 and finished with rounds 14 and 15 (14 stitches on the needles). I didn't decrease to 7 stitches as it makes it too pointy in a chunky yarn. It was a quick project during my TV viewing time over a couple days.
