    About

When I was a little girl I watched my grandmother knit. I watched her teach my mom and sister knit, but not me because I was left-handed. She told me left-handed people can't knit. All these years I thought of that and didn't understand why I couldn't learn to knit. I ran across the LoveKnitting website and found some easy patterns like washcloths and scarves and downloaded the patterns. I searched for instructions for left-handed knitting and did it! In less than a year I learned to make easy baby sweaters for my first grandbaby, lots of dishcloths and finally this sweater for my daughter! LoveKnitting made it easy for me to search for beginner patterns that came out looking good! After fifty years of dreaming about it, I became a knitter!

The sweater is beautiful, like what I imagine that I'll make;from the perfect color to the perfect buttons-my eyes adore the side by side of garter and stockinette.
