    About

My daughter was never interested in "hand knits" and then she showed me a picture and asked, "could you knit me a sweater like this?" I was thrilled and this is the result! I am also very proud because this is my first cable project and these are my first short row sleeves! This is a fabulous pattern and my daughter loves it!

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 9.00mm (US 13) 80cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    • Cable Needle
    • Stitch Markers
Other : A double stitch counter is a must because the two types of cables are worked on different rows!

    Measurements

    Bust: 94.1- cm

Notes: I used size 13 needles to get the right gauge. The fit was perfect! I also added 1x1 ribbing on the bottom, sleeves and neckline as per my daughter's request!

WOW beautiful - love the style, fit, and how pleased your daughter looks to model it:) You give me cable hope, it's hard to believe that's your first cable project as yours came up so well.

Thanks so much Bianca! Cables really aren't that hard. Starting with chunky yarn like this makes it easier. You can definitely do cables, don't give up!
