    About

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 and during my treatment in 2016 I knitted this poncho to exercise both my brain and arm. I knitted both the front and back on a circular needle as I find it easier than knitting one side at a time. I am a self taught knitter but love a challenge therefore arans are my favourites. It took me longer to finish the project as returning to work full time in August 2016. I have enough of the wool left over and going to proceed to use the cable section to make a scarve to match the poncho.

This is absolutely gorgeous :)) I have just bought Magic+ in 'Vieux Rose' and am contemplating making the Poncho as I have had this pattern for some time... This has given me inspiration to do it!!
