I love "cable cardis". I could never knit like this, I wouldn't even attempt casting on. Too many moves to remember.
The slippers tho, in a real chunky wool (I used to use carpet wool but cant find it now, online not at home. thats long gone lol) with fat needles, thats more my speed.
A lining of that fleecy material would go great in this cardi. oh n sheepskin in the hood.

Thank you! I love cables, too. They make things look homey and comfortable. I am sure you could knit something like this too though. In my opinion it is not about speed but enjoyment. :-) there is always that one project that seems to take ages to complete but that only makes me appreciate them more when they are completed. X
