    A set of coasters using 7 different colours from the Lily Sugar n Cream 100% Cotton Worsted Range to give away to a friend who just moved. The pretty colours and thickness of the yarn inspired me. Only takes 15 - 20 mins to complete one coaster

      I also used this yard to make coasters using a thermal stitch which produces a double thick textile. I'm obsessed with the results.

      How big are the coasters? How much yarn will it take to make 4 round placemats?

        Hi Joan. The coasters are about 5 - 5.5 inches in diameter.
        Oh dear. Am afraid I did not keep track of how much yarn I used. There is still alot left on one ball because I used a new colour for each single coaster. I wish I could have some precise answer for you. Im so sorry!
