This scarf was designed by Ankestrick. It has an interesting construction, which is perfect for people (like me) who like shawl constructions but don't like shawls so much. It's worked on the bias, and just like a shawl starts with just a few stitches and you work your way through increases, keeping your stitch count and decreases, until you end up with now more stitches. So there is no casting on and binding off required. AND because of the fringes, there's hardly any darning to do in the end!
It's a joy to knit. It never gets boring working your way from broken line to broken line and colour change to colour change. All these little diversions are mini milestones that give you a sense of achievement throughout.
