Ahhhh. I've frogged the first 32 rows because I counted wrong in the first row of shaping. And now I'm frogging rows 30-50 because I dropped a dang stitch at the end of a row.
The pattern is beautiful and it feels lovely. I am totally too easily distracted to execute it properly. I'm sticking with it, I intend to give it to my mother as a birthday gift. Hopefully I can get it together enough to finish it in the 2.5 months available.
11/1 update: 2 months later and this poor blanket is still only half finished. Hoping to have it done for Christmas. It was put aside for a few weeks while I made some amigurami for a baby shower. But I've also continued to do a lot of frogging! Between dropped stitches that you always discover 4 rows back and the complicated shaping at the edge I've just struggled. However, she persists.
11/19 update: would now say we are 2/3rds done and frogging reduced to 10% of overall activity. Feeling hopeful for Chrismas delivery.
12/15: finished!
