These were my first sweaters. They came out great. Love this pattern.
For the blue sweater I used size 9 needle on the body and size 8 needles on the cuff and bottom ribbing. I used a tubular cast on for the bottom ribbing and a tubular cast off on the cuffs. I made the sweater one inch longer in the body before armhole shaping.
The yellow sweater I used size 8 needles and size 7 needles on the ribbing. I did not make this one an inch longer.
If you can use the tubular cast on/off it makes the sweater look just wonderfully more professional.
I forgot to add that you'll need double pointed needles for the arms.
Also, I designed my own hats. Was not a fan of the hat in pattern.
The third sweater was made for my second Grandson (!) with Cascade Superwash Merino. I used size 8 needles. It was so soft after washing and blocking.

That's how I learn so many things.
Thank you for the compliments. The hats were made with a cable cast on or a long tail cast on.
