    About

I'm not sure which I'm more proud of- Bobbie-Jo in her raspberry pink snow suit or these Dwarf Iris which I planted (a little late) last November!
I brought the bulbs in from the sheltered spot in my garden this morning, expecting them to take a few days to open, and instead I've had the pleasure of watching them unfold in the sunshine whilst I've spent the morning sewing up Bobbie-Jo

I'm hoping they will still be looking good in a week or so :) i'm going to make the most of them whilst they are here, then enjoy the little miniature daffodils I've got coming up!

I was surprised at how quickly they came out- when I brought them indoors they were just buds and 6 hours later they looked like this!

I also had a moment of pleasure as I noticed a flash of purple crocus this morning as I scurried towards the garden gate. Bobby-Jo is also looking forward to spring her smile definitely looks broader.

My crocus are being a bit lazy, no buds visable yet.... but I do have one miniature narcisus open on my work bench this morning :)
