"Bluejeans" Crochet Puppy

I made this for I made Bluejeans for myself and to be the "face" of my online store, "Bluejeans' Handcrafted Gifts & Sundries". She is my puppy avatar :D

    About

    When our family decided I should open an online store, I knew in my heart that I wanted it to be representative of who I am. I love bluejeans, denim skirts, tops, dresses...you name it!

    I'd watched HelenMay's YouTube video several times, ideas for creating big stuffy toys kept flooding my brain. Finally, my love of bluejeans & these big pups came together. The representative for the store would be a wonderful denim-look puppy...named "Bluejeans". She is wearing my peace sign necklace & she has a colorful butterfly friend riding along with her. Bluejeans loves hanging out with us at the park when the weather is lovely!

    Measurements

    Notes: I used "baby weight" yarns, which made Bluejeans about 18" tall when she is sitting. Since making Bluejeans, I have found that using different weight yarns &/or hooks does make a significant difference in sizes, but they all seem to turn out approximately 17"-19" tall. Bluejeans would be of medium size, I would say.
