Hi, I'm just starting out making one of these but I'm confused by the pattern already! this will be the first proper garment I have made other than scarves and mittens . Can you tell me where it starts? Pattern just says Ch 10 and ss join, and then calls each row a 'round' so am I working around a loop? Is this under the arm?

Hi Sarah, I have only just seen this comment so I apologise for my late reply. You’re exactly right! You’re working into the loop. There are some tutorials on YouTube about working on the ‘round’, and yes it is going out from under the arm. You’re baiscally creating a big hexagon which then is folded to make the side. There is a great example of this on the @katiejonesknit Instagram 😌 hope this helps!
