Blanket and booties Will's due April baby girl

I made this for My friends son and girlfriends first baby it's a girl her first grandchild!

    My friends first grandchild she's so excited her oldest son died and never married or had children he was only 25. Will is her only child now I'm so happy for her. I'm making the blanket and booties blanket is a little smaller than the pattern makes I'm trying to use up the yarn I have it will get a white border and some ribbon weaved into the border. I'm also making a cocoon and beanie haven't started yet. Babies love the cocoons probably make an octopus stuffed as well make in a day and the grandchildren play with them more than anything else they love the curly legs

    Measurements

    Notes: It's smaller for a newborn. And to use the yarn I have. Probably appr. 30x32" see when I'm finished. Booties I haven't decided yet if I'm going to go from the pattern or make a little smaller for a newborn I'll probably make them newborn also and use a smaller hook for that.
