    About

    Knitted this sitting beside the bed of my mother-in-law in hospital. She was dying and I promised her I wouldn't leave her alone. I didn't.
    Named this shawl after her, she was called Bea but my husband called her Beetjes. I like this shawl but never wear it.

      It is lovely and I guess will always be a reminder but best of all you were with her. I stitched a birth sampler for my mil great grandson as we stayed with her. I couldn't leave her either
