    About

Jenny asked me to make some of these hearts for her to give away around Valentines Day. She has a stand at a craft market once a week to promote her massage therapy business

    Pattern

    Hanging Hearts by Amanda Berry

    This pattern is from:
LGC Knitting and Crochet Issue 63

    Yarns

    • material-yarn
      Sirdar Ophelia - Cream (104)

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 3.75mm (US 5)

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    • Stuffing
Other : A small amount of Anchor Artistic Metallic yarn in red and gold

    Measurements

Notes: I knitted them on a size smaller needles than recommended in the pattern as I found this gave a firmer fabric and the stuffing didn't show when the heart was completed

I just saw your reply and you said that you had made so many over the years you can do them without the pattern. Isn't that funny when I knit something I very rarely knit the same again as I have to be trying the next thing.lol

I also get carried away doing new patterns, but as I knit a lot for the hospice I always do a few old favourites each time, hearts are always good for Valentines!

They are so good to do, I have made so many over the years that I can do them without the pattern now!
