    About

Abigail was asked what she wanted for her birthday. She said she want another rose like the one I'd made her before, her Mum said she needed a storage basket! Combined they became a Basket of Roses. This is a trug sized Diamond Trellis Basket graduated up from dark green to grass green and covered in four different colours of roses (28 in total) arranged in bushes with leaves and stems top crocheted into the diamond lattice. The roses are made from a pattern in Crochet with Flowers by Nicki Trench, page 34, the roses are arranged in sevens and artistically joined with stems and leaves to make four bushes around the basket. The handles were reinforced as for Mum's Rectangular basket.
