    About

Each morning Mom struggled to keep a blanket on this little girl without her throwing it off and there is not enough room on her molded chair to fit a coat. The result was a shivering little girl each day as she got on and off the bus. I picked this pattern because I could choose the length of the back which I made to only 4". It works great and mom was so great full I felt guilty that it was so easy! Biggest hurtle was that I can't crochet (I just learned to knit) so I didn't know how to do the button loop. I googled a knit button loop and substituted that so my second button is strictly decorative but it balances well. The multi colored yarn helped eliminate the need for the contrasting trim.
