Baby sleeping bags

    I'd been looking through different baby sleeping bag pattern and hadn't found anything that instantly appealed to me, so designed and adapted a pattern using the picture of one that I'd seen - dizzy grow bag. Luckily I was able to count the stitches required off the picture, and also able to find the measurements usually used for baby sleeping bags. The green one was my first attempt, and is slightly smaller than the yellow one, and the hoods are different, as I changed the pattern/stitch count a bit for the second one. As I suffer with arthritis, I find knitting helps relieve the stiffness in my fingers and wrists. Knitting has also helped to slightly straighten out two fingers on my left hand, which I am so pleased with. When I'm at work I can't wait to get home and get on with whichever project I'm doing, it is so stress relieving, helps me relax after a 12/14hr shift.

      I can't believe you were able to count stitches off a photo! The bags are adorable. I like the green one particularly -- I'm a sucker for both green and stag horn cable. :-)

        I also have worked out a pattern by counting the stitches from a photo. One of my sons is a cronic Liverpool Fan, so that is what I did for his Beenie, Sweater etc. But I didn't "Copy" fersay as that wouldn't be right... so I make changes....I will tell you in some cases it takes all my p****ts. There are times when graft paper and imagination comes in to call. I love Intarsia.... I love these and yes the colour green,
