    My dear friend is expecting, 3 months to go. Haven't had cause to knit a shawl for a while so here goes. Very fine delegate wool. The pattern is very old and there is both a pattern for a round or Sqare shawl. I'm opting for the square this time. Last time I knitted this I was pregnant 27 years ago with my first daughter.

    25/01 mmmm need to concentrate doing this, just finished the border and on to the edging.

    06/02 getting there, just started 3rd side border.o

    22/02 On the home straight, edging on the last side to do, then wash and block. Hooray!

      I made this shawl a few times when I was much younger. I loved doing it, but in moving I lost the pattern. I was so excited to find it again. It is a beautiful pattern and makes up so well. Thank you.
