    This is my first attempt at intarsia. It was a bit more tricky to make it look neat than I had anticipated - and lots of threads to finish off when sewing up. But I do like the bold colours I chose for this project - a bit of a change from the usual baby pastels.

      I think you made a good job of this and the colours are lovely. I am sure it was well received! I love that you left the flowers off - I did too, when I made it - just a bridge too far for me, that was!

        Thanks Gill! I thought the embroidery idea was an interesting one, but not this time (and probably not flowers) - cars, teddies, child’s name I guess are other possibilities.
