Irish Rose pattern was my inspiration but I made changes to fit my loose crochet style and to fit my granddaughter. I also added a lace edge bottom to match the lace edged top. (Row 1 of bottom edge SC with the smaller hook in white directly onto the bottom of the assembled garment. Swith back to larger hook for the remainder of the bottom edge.) The last change, I added a row of SC in delft to highlight the scalloped edge at the top and the bottom.
My granddaughter said she loved it because it was so "fancy".
I loved it so much I made 3 more. Another in blue, one in pink and one in lilac.
