First one of my own pattern (similar to the baby blue!) Made with Lorna's laces baby alpaca /silk, with doubled alpaca/silk lace (acquired a while ago) with wollfrauen virgin wool for the edging...
Feb 2018 stitched overlooking lake Windermere with a sprinkling of snow on the peaks behind
Made up of single crochet stitches in the round, squared off and then rounds of 2 chain and then 3 chain arches, with 5-6 rows of single crochet again to add a bit of stability, edged with crosshatch stitch worked 1 row clockwise 2nd row turn and work wrong side facing (dc, chain 1, dc at each corner)
Final row: double dc, 2dc in each of the school of row below (anchor point of the crosshatch stitch of the previous row) with school in top stitch of the next 2chain (I.e. the start of the next cross hatch), with 2 dc, 3 double dc, 2dc in each corner...!
(....Well kinda made sense to me when I was doing it.. sorry using American terminology because it's easier than typing double trebles....!)
