    About

    He's the newest edition to the family and I haven't made anything for my nieces and nephews yet, but I decided to start with him and thought something that could be used for the first few years would be good. This pattern was simple enough for someone that had never crocheted a blanket. I did alter the border, though.

    Notes: The border on mine is a simple *dc/sc, 3 tr/dc, dc/sc* in each ch 3 sp, including the corners.

      I’m a knitter but I’m learning to crochet, I thought I might try this blanket. The pattern is in DK using a 4mm hook but I see you’ve used 5mm. Did you use Aran yarn?
