    About

This baby will be our fourth grandchild, and the first baby for our son and daughter-in-law. The baby’s sex is unknown as yet, but I think this colour will suit either a boy or a girl. This blanket is quick and easy to knit if you don’t make any mistakes and consequently need to ladder down to fix them with a crochet hook, which I’ve had to do a few times. The photo shows the first two sets of the five set pattern. It’s still to be finished, but I’ve done a couple more sets now and there is just one to go. I should have it finished in a day or two, as it’s good cold knitting weather here in Melbourne.
And it’s finshed now, just need to weave in ends and maybe block it a little.

I finished this baby blanket a few weeks ago. I haven't knitted for a long time and wanted something easy but beautiful which this definitely is. It's an easy pattern to follow but the finished blanket looks very impressive. I was delighted with it as were the recipients.

I can’t see how/where to write a review of this pattern, but in contrast to the one review that has been posted so far, I was very happy with the finished product and didn’t notice any glaring mistakes in the instructions. Sometimes you just have to read them more than once to get it right!

Dear Jo, thank you so much for taking the time to upload your pictures and write a review. Unfortunately, the lady who left the (really bad) review was a very early buyer of this pattern and I had accidentally uploaded the wrong PDF (it was an uncorrected early version). As soon as the errors were pointed out to me I checked and uploaded the correct version. I hope the expected Grandbaby has made a safe arrival :-) I myself, was thrilled by the arrival of a new one (a little girl called Harriet) 9 weeks ago. What a joy they are!

Jo, a beautiful design and very good colour to suit either sex of baby.
