    About

I liked the design and the fact that the design in grey is unisex. So it doesn't matter what sex the baby will be.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 4.50mm (US 7) 80cm

    Measurements

    60 x 110 cm

Notes: Next time would do 2 more stitches on each side to the moss-stitch bordure.

Love this and downloaded the pattern to make a blanket for a friends new baby. One small thing to note is that the instructions seem to be incorrect. For the number of stitches (105) with a 10 stitch seed stitch border and 3 stitches between each star, if you assume that this does not include 3 between the first and last star with the border then this has to be 4 repeats of the star not 5 as given in the pattern (English version). Looking at the picture this seems to be just 4.
That is 10+19+3+19+3+19+3+19+10=105. If you want five stars you would need to add 22 stitches to the number cast on.
I'm planning to do this in a blue grey or green which should be gender natural. I'm looking for a beany pattern in worsted to do a matching hat.
