      Try German short rows to avoid the holes. It is so much better than wrap and turn short rows. You can see it demonstrated on YouTube.

        I agree with you. I had the same problem with this pattern. It doesn't matter how tight i made the yarn at turning still produced the holes to me too. I read a technique in a book how to avoid it but not tried it yet. I would have to practice before starting out on a project.
